Profile
Abstract
I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Leipzig University, affiliated with the HumanKind Humboldt Science Center for Child Development, led by Prof. Dr. Tina Malti. My research focuses on fostering social-emotional development in children, with a particular emphasis on intervention programs for early childhood.
Currently, I lead the RAISE intervention program, which aims to support parents and educators of 3- to 8-year-old children in promoting social-emotional competencies and well-being. Additionally, we are developing a 10-week intervention program for 3- to 5-year-olds, designed to nurture skills such as emotion regulation, empathy (for self and others), and prosocial behavior.
In addition to my research, I am deeply committed to teaching. I lecture in Developmental Psychology and give seminars in Intervention Research and Theory as part of the Master's program Child Development and Intervention (formerly Early Childhood Research) at Leipzig University.
